Bloomfield Resident's Video Games Stolen During Home Burglary: Police

A Bloomfield resident left home for the holidays. When he returned, his PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch were gone, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone stole a Bloomfield resident’s video game systems during a home burglary over the holidays, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the 200-block of Watchung Avenue after getting a report about a burglary on Dec. 29.

The resident told officers that he left his house on Dec. 24 and when he returned on Dec. 29, the basement window was shattered. Drawers were opened throughout the apartment, and a PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch were missing.

Surveillance cameras showed two men with masks and bags walking up the stairwell, police said.
