On Thursday, the Bloomfield Soccer Club's U15 Boys soccer team beat Pittsburgh to advance to the second round of the US Soccer Club National Cup Champions tournament In an email to Patch, Bloomfield Soccer Club president Barry Weiner said that the score of the opening match game, played in Aurora, Colorado, was 2-0. United Head Coach John RIcca team roster includes 13 players who have hopes of being named to the Bloomfield High School Varsity team this fall, including 5 players who made Varsity as Freshman last year. With the victory, the Bloomfield boys next face  UK Elite out of Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday at 5:30 p.m. EST The US Club National Cup Championship will be decided Sunday July 21.
