The March of Dimes celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and for over 40 years, its annual March for Babies has been its oldest and best-loved walking event. Hundreds of walkers flocked to Brookdale Park on Sunday, May 5 when the Bloomfield Park hosted Essex County's local version of the march.  Since the marches began in 1970, they have raised an $2.6 billion for programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies as well as funding research.
