Music at the Mansion returns to the Oakeside Cultural Center on Sunday afternoon at 3 with a wide array of cabaret and classical performers from New Jersey and New York performing. Admission is $10. Newark Mayor and Senate Candidate Cory Booker will be in Bloomfield on Saturday for a meet and greet at the Bloomfield Democratic headquarters at 114 Broughton Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. In a crime prevention action, Bloomfield Township Councilman Carlos Bernard will be on the streets of the Third Ward Saturday and Sunday night talking to residents and keeping police informed of suspicious goings on. The Bloomfield Public library holds its weekly knitting club and toddler reading groups on Friday.
