Five New Police Officers, No More Dollar Stores on Council Agenda
The Board of Education will also meet this week to discuss district goals and a special farmers market comes to Watsessing Park this week.

The Bloomfield Township Council meets on Monday for their only regular meeting in July. According to the agenda, the Council will discuss hiring appointing five new police officers to replace current members of the department retiring.
There will be an open hearing on changing aspects of the Bloomfield Center redevelopment plan. The council wants to insert language preventing dollar stores and to require fiscal impact plans from other types of businesses.
On Thursday, there will be a Special District Goal setting meeting of the Board of Education at the School administration building. The legal notice for the meeting is posted on the school’s website but there is not an agenda available at this time of writing.
