North Center Streetscape Open House October 19

The public is invited to discuss plans for the revitalization with Bloomfield township officials and the design team.

The Bloomfield Public Library will host an Open House on Wednesday October 19 from 4 to 8 pm for residents interested in learning more about the township’s North Center Streetscape revitalization. 

The project will include new sidewalks, furniture, trees and municipal parking lot improvements. 

Township officials and members of the design team will be available for the public to learn more about the project.

In September, three urban designers visited Bloomfield and redesigned a small portion of the Broad Street for a day.  The was a fanciful idea to show town residents what was possible for the revitalization of the business district. 

Community members interested in attending the Open House October 19 may view initial concepts and ideas for the township.  Participants are also invited to share in a discussion forum with the design team.
