Police Searching for Armed Robber in Bloomfield

Bloomfield Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chinese food restaurant at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

Police said a man entered The Chopstick House on Bloomfield Avenue shortly after midnight on Sunday and placed a black handgun on the counter, according to nj.com. The man reportedly stole $300 and fled the scene as a passenger in a gray or black SUV, heading south onto North 13th Street, nj.com reported.

The man was described as dark-skinned, Hispanic, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and white scarf over his face, authorities said.
