Ronald McDonald Comes to the Library, Weekly Farmers Market

Here's a look at what's happening today.

Ronald McDonald will perform for children at the Bloomfield public library on Broad Street from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday with an act the library says will include silly magic tricks and goofy games. For more information, call 973-566-6200 ext. 507. No food will be served at this program.

The Bloomfield Farmers Market  is open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday on Bloomfield Avenue at State & Liberty streets. 

Don’t be alarmed if you see groups of hard working youth in the township. Throughout the week, youth volunteers from the U.M. Army will be working with the Bloomfield Department of Human services to help senior with repairs and other household tasks.

Are you a poet? Get thee to a pen and paper. The Neo Soulz Spoken Word & Therapeutic Poetry Open Mic will be held on August 2 and they are looking for participants.
