Pay Off Library Fines with Food Nov 28 - Dec 2

During Thanksgiving Amnesty at the library, fines for overdue books, CDs, DVDs, videocassettes or audio books can be cleared in exchange for cans of food.

Bloomfield Public Library patrons can take advantage of a five-day post-Thanksgiving amnesty period for overdue books, CDs, DVDs, videocassettes or audio books.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 28 and continuing through Friday, Dec. 2 any library patron with an overdue item can clear their fines by bringing in one food item per overdue charge as part of the library’s “Food for Fines” program.
