'Urinetown' Opens, 'The Impossible' Screens at Library

At 12:15 p.m., the Bloomfield Library screens the movie "The Impossible," which stars Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts as a family struggling to survive a tsunami in Thailand.

Tonight, the Charles Seller Foundation/Talent Time Players’ 64th annual production of the musical comedyUrinetown opens at the Bloomfield High School auditorium. The play runs through the weekend and next week. 

The Afro Brazilian Cultural Center at 554 Bloomfield Ave. hosts the Neo_SoulZ Spoken Word & Therapeutic Poetry Open Mic on Friday at 8 p.m.
