BRICK, NJ — A boat caught fire while docked on the Metedeconk River behind a home on Princeton Avenue on Monday.
Brick Township police urged people to avoid the area while firefighters battled the blaze behind a home on the 400 block of Princeton Avenue, because it was causing a significant odor of burning plastic.
Video published by Jersey Shore Fire Response shows firefighters pouring water on it from the dock before the Laurelton Fire Company's fire boat arrived to assist.
