Man Arrested In String Of Vehicle Burglaries, Brick Police Say

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man has been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the southern portion of the township, Brick police said Tuesday.

Christopher Conners, 38, was arrested Tuesday, Police Chief David Forrester said.

He was arrested following the investigation into several reports of vehicle break-ins concentrated in the neighborhoods off of Mantoloking Road and Drum Point Road, police said.

Conners was identified and arrested "through diligent patrol work and investigative leads," police said.

"Chief Forrester would like to thank the residents who provided surveillance footage and timely reports, which were instrumental in closing these cases," the police department said.

The department also reminded residents to "Lock It or Lose It" — always lock vehicles and remove valuables from sight.
