Brick Mom 'Is The Best Mom I Could Ever Ask For,' Daughter Says

BRICK, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is a truly special person to me. She came from Ecuador to the United States to provide me and my sisters with a better life here. It wasn't an easy decision for her, but she made a sacrifice to ensure that we had more opportunities and a brighter future. She takes care of us so well, always making sure we have what we need and that we are happy. I know she works hard every day to provide for us, and it's something I'm incredibly grateful for.

But what makes my mom extra special is the love and affection she shows us. She gives us her all, always putting our needs before her own. Even when she doesn't have much, she tries to give us whatever we ask for because she wants us to be happy. Seeing us smile brings her so much joy, and it's evident in the way she interacts with us. She is truly the best mom I could ever ask for, and I look up to her as a role model for how I want to be when I have children of my own.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

I feel that my mom deserves the spotlight this Mother’s Day because of all the amazing things she does for me and my siblings. She works incredibly hard to make sure we're happy, and she always puts our needs before her own. It's something I admire and appreciate about her so much.

Recently, my mom has been through a lot with the passing of her father and brother, who she was very close with. Despite the heartbreak and pain she felt inside, she never gave up and managed to be positive for her children. I know it was hard for her, but she always put on a brave face and did everything she could to keep us smiling. It's a testament to her strength and resilience as a person, and it's something I'm so proud of.

Even in the toughest of times, my mom always finds a way to keep going and keep us all together. She is the best mom I could ever ask for, and I truly believe she deserves the spotlight every single day. She is selfless, kind, and loving, and she always puts her family first. I love her so much, and I'm grateful for everything she does for us. This Mother's Day, and every day, I hope she knows how much she means to me and my siblings.
