Snow Leads To Delayed Opening For Brick Schools

See what time your child has to be at school on Monday, Dec. 15, because of the delay.

BRICK, NJ — Students and staff in the Brick Township School District will get to sleep a little later on Monday as the district has declared a delayed opening due to Sunday's snowfall.

Brick Township — along with much of the region — received 7 inches of snow from the storm that moved through New Jersey late Saturday into Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm began with rain, and has left icy conditions in its wake. The district said the resulting hazardous road conditions prompted the decision to go with a two-hour delayed opening.
