BRICK, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your mom extra special?
My mom is 80 and she's amazing! Mom mom is a retired nurse and just is very caring and giving My mom made me the mom that I am today
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?
She takes care of her kids, grandkids and the love of her life — my dad. She had major surgery last year when she fell and fractured her pelvis. She bounces back incredibly due to her resilience.
