Corrado's Market Plans To Open In Brick This Summer After Long Wait: Report

The wait might be coming to an end: Corrado's Market​ is planning for a July 4 opening in Brick, the company president told local media.

Paul Corrado told the Asbury Park Press the company has hired a management team, and is now looking to hire store staff​. Corrado said the company just got shelving for the Brick store, after a five-month delay​ because of a steel shortage.

BRICK, NJ —The wait might be coming to an end: Corrado's Market is planning for a July 4 opening in Brick, the company president told local media.

Paul Corrado told the Asbury Park Press the company has hired a management team, and is now looking to hire store staff. Corrado said the company just got shelving for the Brick store, after a five-month delay because of a steel shortage.

The new store at Laurel Square Shopping Center has been under development for several years, and was originally scheduled to open in 2020. The Corrado's website for the Brick location still says "we're making progress! Look forward to our 2020 opening."

The Corrado's in Brick is at the former Pathmark site, 1930 Route 88. The store is anticipated to have a wine and beer store next door under the Corrado's name.
