• 5 Hurt In Armored Truck Crash On Parkway, Report Says (patch.com) — Drivers in Brick faced major disruption Friday after an armored truck and an SUV collided around noon on the Garden State Parkway’s Exit 91 northbound ramp. Five people, including the truck driver and four SUV occupants, were injured and taken to area hospitals, prompting a significant emergency response in the Brick area.

• Acropolis leads Brick co-op past Manalapan - Boys ice hockey recap (nj.com subscription) — Brick Township’s unbeaten co-op hockey team stayed perfect at 5-0 as Brody Acropolis scored twice in a 5-3 win over Manalapan in Farmingdale. Conner Kelly, Max Larson and Brody Douma added goals, with Brick Township breaking a 1-1 first-period tie by outscoring Manalapan 3-1 in the second to seize control.
