BRICK, NJ — Brick Township will be distributing dune grass in November to be planted to help strengthen dunes in the township.

The plants are set to be distributed at Brick Beach 1, Route 35 north, on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to noon — or until the supply is gone, officials said.

The grass is provided by Ocean County and is available for planting on dunes on public and private property to help stabilize and strengthen the dune system, which helps protect property in significant storms.
