Heroin, Cocaine Seized From Brick Home, 2 Charged
Brick Township police said authorities also seized the generic form of Valium and a diuretic from the home.

BRICK, NJ ā Two men are being held in the Ocean County Jail after authorities seized multiple narcotics during an investigation into drug distribution from a Brick Township home, police said.
Roy John Pickell Jr., 64, of Brick Township, and Joseph Coiro, 59, of Whiting, were arrested March 13 when detectives with the Brick Township Police Street Crimes Unit and the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force searched a home on Lenape Trail, Patrol Officer Victoria Finelli said.
The search was conducted after a two-month investigation into narcotics distribution in Brick, Finelli said.

Detectives seized unspecified amounts of heroin, cocaine, furosemide (a diuretic), and diazepam (the generic name for Valium), along with two digital scales and several miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia, she said.
Pickell and Coiro both were charged with three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of furosemide, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pickell and Coiro were processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters and are being held at the Ocean County Jail.

"Chief David Forrester commends the Street Crimes Unit and the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force for their diligent efforts in this investigation," the statement from police said.
