‘Large Amount’ Of Heroin, Cocaine Seized At Brick Residence: Police
A Brick man was charged with possession of cocaine and heroin, as well as intent to distribute both substances, police said.
BRICK, NJ - A Brick man was charged after a Thursday search of a residence yielded the discovery of a “large amount” of heroin and cocaine, authorities said.
Ezra Wheeler, 27, of Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine and heroin, as well as intent to distribute both substances, police said.
The charges stem from a “lengthy investigation” with the execution of three search warrants at a residence on Coventry Court, police said. The search found 250 wax folds of heroin and a large amount of crack cocaine that, when included with the amount of crack cocaine seized from the suspect’s vehicle, totalled over 100 grams.

An undisclosed amount of cash in the tens of thousands of dollars was also seized, as well as a digital scale, police said.
Wheeler’s charges were placed on a summons and he was lodged in Ocean County Jail, police said.
