Livoti's Italian Specialty Market Sets Opening Date For Brick Store
The market is filling a spot that had been targeted for a small family-owned store in a part of Brick clamoring for a grocery store.

BRICK, NJ — Residents who have been waiting for a market on the north side of Brick Township should have a new option soon.
Livoti's Old World Market, which sells Italian specialties, expects to open in the Laurel Square Shopping Center on March 7, according to the company's website.
The store fills the 30,000-square-foot space that once was home to Pathmark, and until 2022, was supposed to be occupied by Corrado's Market, a small chain in North Jersey. Corrado's had anticipated opening in 2020, but financial stresses and supply chain delays led to it being evicted from the space by Brixmor, the property owner, in June 2022.

The space has not been actively open for business since Pathmark closed in November 2015.
Livoti's opened its first store in Aberdeen in 2010 and each of its five locations is overseen by a member of John Livoti's family, according to its website.
