'Loving And Hard-Working': Jordyn, Brick Star Student
We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one who's having an impact in Brick.

BRICK, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Bill and Denise Davis, who nominated their granddaughter, Jordyn, a senior from Brick.
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Jordyn has been a high honor student. Through most of her senior year she took college courses in affiliation with Ocean County College Kean University. Jordyn has danced at the now Extensions Dance Academy since she was 10 years old and recently received an award for choreographing her award-winning dance, the future choreographer award. She was doing all of this plus holding down two jobs, as a nanny plus nursery school aide/teacher at Little Giggles in Point Pleasant. Jordyn is a loving daughter and granddaughter. A true gift to us all.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Jordyn is a loving and hard-working individual. Her personality drives her to succeed always.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Jordyn!
