• Man Killed, Woman Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On Route 88 In Brick (patch.com) — A serious wrong-way collision on Route 88 near Ocean University Medical Center in Brick left a Newark man dead and a 67-year-old Brick woman hospitalized with serious injuries. Brick police say the woman’s vehicle exited the hospital, entered the wrong lane, and struck the other car head-on, prompting a multi-agency emergency response and an ongoing local traffic safety investigation.
   

• Brick Man, 91, Charged In Hit-And-Run That Injured Landscaper (patch.com) — A 91-year-old Brick Township man has been charged after police say his SUV struck a landscaper on a riding mower in Wall and then left the scene. Investigators used surveillance video to trace the vehicle through Wall into Brick, ultimately locating the damaged Subaru in town and tying it to the Brick resident through interviews and repair records.
   

• Brick Awards Contract for St. Lawrence Boulevard Paving Project (shorebeat.com) — Brick Township has approved a $467,653 contract to mill and repave St. Lawrence Boulevard between Catalina Drive and its eastern end, covering nearly the entire roadway. The project will add fresh asphalt, new striping, and updated signage to improve safety and guidance along this key route serving lagoon communities and access to Barnegat Bay.
