TOMS RIVER, NJ — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.
This submission comes from Tracy Lagary of Toms River, who nominated her daughter, Ashley Lagary, who works at Community Medical Center as a patient transporter, moving patients around the hospital.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She is a college student (21 years old), transporting patients at Community Medical Center fearlessly during the pandemic. As a per-diem transporter, she does this willfully, not as a matter of employment. We are so proud of her.

She is more caring then she leads on.
