Police, EMS Announce Training Exercise In Cherry Quay In Brick

The training exercise will bring a heavy law enforcement presence to the area, officials said.

BRICK, NJ — Residents of Cherry Quay will see a large police presence in their neighborhood on Wednesday when authorities will be there conducting a training exercise, Brick Township police said Tuesday.

The training exercise will include members of the Brick Township Police Department, the New Jersey State Police and Brick Township EMS and Rescue, police said in a social media posting.

The exercise is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

"For the safety of yourself and the first responders participating, please refrain from interacting or interfering with the training if you happen to see personnel operating," the police department said.

"Please share this information with others as to spread the word and reduce any concern," police said.
