The blaze forced closure of Route 88 in Brick while firefighters battled it.
BRICK, NJ — A fire damaged a Brick Township auto repair facility on Route 88 in Brick on Monday night.
The fire at My Family Auto Repair Center on Route 88 west forced police to close Route 88 from Lanes Mill Road to Jack Martin Boulevard, with Brick Township police sending alerts by text message and phone shortly after 8 p.m.
Additional details about the two-alarm fire, including the possible cause, were not available Monday night.
