Sheriff's Office Seeking Help Finding Lost K9

Dog was last seen in Allaire State Park in Wall during a training exercise

An Ocean County Sheriff's Department K9, Jack, went missing Monday afternoon during training near Allaire State Park in Wall, officials said.

Jack is a brown Chesapeake Bay retriever and was last seen in the park at about 2 p.m. Monday, the department said.

The Sheriff's Department has informed Howell and Wall police of the missing dog, but is also asking the public to keep an eye out.

Anyone who spots Jack is being asked to call the department at 732-349-2010, Wall police at 732-449-4500 or Howell police at 732-938-4111.

A photo of the dog was not available, however the dog pictured with this story is also a brown Chesapeake Bay retriever.
