Town-Wide Yard Sale In Brick Moved Due To Forecast

BRICK, NJ — With the weather forecast calling for heavy rain on Saturday, Brick Township officials have decided to move the Town-Wide Yard Sale to its raindate.

The town announced the postponement on Tuesday afternoon. The sale now will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8, the day after the originally scheduled date.

The suggested hours for the sale are 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

There are more than 300 homes throughout Brick registered to participate in the sale, town officials said. Those who want to participate and be included on the town's interactive Google Map must register by 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. The cost to participate as a seller is $5 and the form can be downloaded here. Turn it in at the Township Clerk's office, 401 Chambers Bridge Road.

The Google map of homes participating has been updated regularly. A list of homes and what they are selling is available as well.

People who want to go check out the sales can expect a diverse selection of items, including clothing, furniture, electronics, antiques, toys, books, jewelry, and much more.
