Work Continues on Burnt Tavern Water Main Break
Work now expected to last into Saturday afternoon
Brick police said that work crews continue efforts to repair a broken water main in the area of Burnt Tavern Road and Herborn Avenue early Saturday morning.
The work was expected to be completed overnight, but is now lasting into Saturday, Sgt. Henry Drew said. Work is expected to continue into Saturday afternoon, he said, and detours remain in place.
Police were urging motorists to use caution in the area in and around the break.
