1 Hospitalized In Rt. 202 Crash With Utility Pole In Branchburg: EMS
A driver involved in a Friday morning crash with a utility pole on Route 202 in Branchburg was hospitalized, officials said.
BRANCHBURG, NJ - A driver involved in a Friday morning crash with a utility pole on Route 202 in Branchburg was hospitalized, officials said.
Volunteers from Branchburg Rescue Squad, Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company and Branchburg Township Police responded to the early morning crash, finding a vehicle with “significant damage consistent with a rollover” at the scene, the Branchburg Rescue Squad said in a statement.
Responders also found an extended debris trail, severed utility pole and one patient who was out of the vehicle, officials said.

After a “rapid on scene assessment,” the driver was taken to the trauma center at RWJUH New Brunswick with paramedics providing care en route.
The crash remains under investigation by Branchburg police.
