Annual Student Art Exhibition Set at RVCC

The first exhibition runs from March 23-April 7, in the Art Gallery at the College's Branchburg Campus.

From RVCC: Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments again this year. The first exhibition runs from March 23-April 7, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg Campus. Part II of the exhibition will run from April 13-28.

An opening reception for Part I will be held Thursday, March 23, from 5-7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The wide variety of work included in the exhibition was created by RVCC students and selected by faculty members from the Visual & Performing Arts Department. Part I will feature an array of media from the following disciplines: 2D design, ceramics, color theory, drawing, illustration, interior design and printmaking. The show is being coordinated by Darren McManus, RVCC Art Gallery coordinator and full-time instructor in the VAPA Department.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fridays, 1-4 p.m. The gallery will not open until 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 23.
