BRHS Marching Band Captures Top Honors at Two Competitions

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Panther Marching Band brings home another two first place victories, after competing at the US Bands Yamaha Cup in Giants Stadium and US Bands Pequannick High School Competition. 

In the Yamaha Cup, held on Saturday, the band captured first place and all captions awards in the Group 6 Open Division including Best Music, Best Visual, Best Effect, Best Guard, Best Percussion with an overall score of 80.538—which was the highest score of any of the bands in the Open Division, the most competitive division.  

The band will be competing next in the US Bands New Jersey State Championships at Rutgers Stadium in New Brunswick on Oct. 19.
