All proceeds will benefit the local fire department, which responds to over 400 fire calls per year and counting as the borough continues to increase in size, organizers said.
"Our dedicated members are trained to handle and mitigate emergencies involving fire suppression, hazardous materials response, and other forms of rescue," organizers wrote in promotional materials for the event. "The department currently operates 3 engines and 1 truck along with other specialized equipment and utility vehicles out of 3 separate firehouses within the 2.2 square mile county seat of Somerset County."
