"The June Theatre Showcase was especially meaningful because every element of both productions was entirely student-produced—from costumes, props, and sets to direction, sound, and lighting," Diaforli-Day said.
The two one-act productions that evening were Little Women, brought to life by the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Thespian Honor Society Troupe No. 5154, and The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, performed by members of the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Company class.
Diaforli-Day spoke highly about the student performances on stage and off.
"It was inspiring to watch these students collaborate, problem-solve, and grow — not just as performers, but as theatre technicians, leaders, and storytellers. We had an appreciative audience there to support their hard work and creativity," she said.
