Bridgewater Releases Spring Yard Waste Drop-Off Guidelines, Hours

Spring is officially here, and with blooming gardens and yards come plenty of yard waste. Here's when you can drop off excess brush:

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Spring is officially here in Bridgewater, and with blooming gardens and yards come plenty of yard waste.

The Bridgewater Department of Public Works has released its spring hours for yard waste drop-offs, a free service for all residents. Drop-offs will take place at the township yard waste site (136 Foothill Road) from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The only yard waste permitted to be dropped off is brush, leaves, grass, wood chips and logs.

The site will be closed on Memorial Day (May 29), July 4, Labor Day (Sept. 2 and 4), Thanksgiving (Nov. 23 to 25) and Christmas Day (Dec. 25) in 2023.
