Dinosaurs, Sticker Art Come Together In Bridgewater Teacher's Newest Children's Book
Eighth-grade science teacher Rob Ambrose will be signing his second book in the Dino Style series called "Stickersaurs" on Saturday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Rob Ambrose, an 8th-grade science teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School and longtime Somerville resident, is continuing his successful Dino Style children's book series with his latest book, "Stickersaurus."
Ambrose will be hosting a book signing and celebration for "Stickersaurus" on Saturday, May 17, from noon to 3 p.m. at Mnty and Milo, 4 Division St., Somerville.
While his new book still follows dinosaurs, the focus is on a different type of street art - sticker art, which is an offshoot of graffiti.

"It's dinosaurs who are trading their sticker art with each other, and it has stickers with information about the dinosaurs," said Ambrose to Patch.
Just as in the first book, it will still have rhyming text and will educate children on eight new dinosaurs, "just through a different medium."

The book comes with four blank "Prehistoric Mail" labels to draw on, as well as a sheet of 8 stickers to go in the book.
Ambrose began working on his book last October when he had surgery and was out of work for three months.
"There was a point in time, like, for a solid two months, where I couldn't even get off the couch. So I had a lot of time to draw and just think, and that's where I came up with this idea for this book," said Ambrose.
From an early age, dinosaurs and street art or graffiti have always fascinated Ambrose. Now he is able to continue it in his book DINO STYLE: Stickersaus! Read More: A Passion For Graffiti And Dinosaurs Led Bridgewater Teacher To Pen 1st Children's Book
