Bridgewater's UNIQLO Store to Open Oct. 4

Company expects to hire hundreds for two new locations in New Jersey.

After announcing plans to open a location in the Bridgewater Commons in July, Japan-based casual clothing retailer UNIQLO has now set an opening date of Oct. 4.

The company is opening 10 stores between October and the end of November, including a third New Jersey store in Menlo Park opening Nov. 1 (UNIQLO opened a store at the Garden State Plaza, in Paramus, in 2012).

The company currently operates seven stores in the U.S., as well as online shopping offered on its website. The company also has a app for iPhones and iPads, with Droid versions scheduled to be released later, and plans to bolster its website shopping.
