Construction on Promenade Boulevard, East Main Street Sidewalks Beginning

Bridgewater Township Police announced safety improvements to traffic lanes and sidewalks on Promenade Boulevard, including East Main Street, will begin on Monday, March 9.

Construction is expected to run from March through June 2015, with traffic maintained through the work zone areas on two lanes of the four lane roadway, police said. Construction will being on East Main Street, across from TD Bank Ballpark for the construction of sidewalks.

Daytime work hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to police, milling and paving of the roadway will occur in May and will use overnight hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
