Dog Abandoned In Crate Behind Playground In Somerset County
The dog was "petrified" when she was found in the crate. Now the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is searching for answers.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A dog was found abandoned in a crate behind Kidstreet Playground along Route 202/206 in Bridgewater.
On Saturday, May 10, around 3 p.m., someone was walking along the path in the woods behind KidStreet and the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter(SRAS), saw the dog, and told the shelter right away.
SRAS Manager Brian Bradshaw said it appears someone got off the highway, "someone got out of their car, I guess, walked it up through the woods, left it at the top of the woods, and left the dog in the crate back there."
