Results Of Bridgewater Primary 2025, Council Race Contested In Fall
Three Republicans and three Democrats filed to run in the uncontested Primary Election for 2025 for the Bridgewater Township Council.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The unofficial results are in for the 2025 Primary Election for the Bridgewater Township Council.
While the Council races for Republicans and Democrats were both uncontested in the primary election, they will be contested in the general election in November.

Here are the unofficial results for the Bridgewater Township Council (*denotes incumbent). According to Somerset County, 100 percent of the districts have reported. However, these results remain unofficial until all mail-in and provisional ballots are counted:

Bridgewater Township Council:
- Allen Kurdyla* - Republican - 2,439
- Filipe Pedroso* - Republican - 2,140
- Meghan Moench - Republican - 2,269
- Ridwana Isla - Democrat - 2,331
- Joan Geiger - Democrat - 2,643
- Andrew Bucko - Democrat - 2,358
Currently, the Bridgewater Township Council is made up entirely of Republicans.

Somerset County Board of County Commissioners:
- Melonie Marano - Democrat* - 24,576
- Nick Cuozzo - Republican - 17,366
Somerset County Sheriff:
- Darrin Russo - Democrat* - 25,418
- Michael Manochio - Republican - 18,059
Somerset County Surrogate:
- Bernice "Tina" Jalloh - Democrat* - 24,699
- John L. Sweeney - Republican - 17,102
New Jersey Legislative District 23 House of Representatives:
- John DiMaio - Republican* - uncontested
- Erik Peterson - Republican* - uncontested
- Guy Citron - Democrat - uncontested
- Tyler Powell - Democrat - uncontested
The New Jersey general election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
