The township is planning to celebrate sustainable initiatives with Green Your Town Day, a program with the Sustainability Task Force, and sponsor Seventh Generation, for recognizing environmentally friendly practices.
The ceremony will begin with a designation of the entrance to the municipal complex as Green Street, followed by a presentation of a $10,000 green home makeover to Meenah Shah, who will be recognized as the winner of the Seventh Generation "Green Your Town" sweepstakes. The first 1,000 residents at the event will also receive a "Green Home" kit.
