The annual Step Out walk raises funds for the American Diabetes Association’s type 1 and type 2 diabetes research and education programs.
The event will begin at 3:30 p.m., and participants can choose to walk as many times as they would like around the warning track of the baseball field. The event will include Walgreens Flu Shots, local business giveaways and an "Ask the Expert" area in the Health and Wellness Village that features the latest information on diabetes and nutrition.
The kids can enjoy the haunted trail, pumpkin painting and more! Costumes are encouraged!

To register or donate to this year's walk, visit diabetes.org/centralnj or call 1-888-DIABETES (342-2383) ext. 3511. Participants also can register on the day of the event.
There is a suggested minimum donation of $20 per family to participate.
