NJ Spa Busted For Prostitution, 4 Arrested Following Community Concerns

In response to community concerns, a three-week joint investigation was initiated, followed by a search of the spa.

READINGTON, NJ — Four people were arrested in connection with a house of prostitution in Hunterdon County.

In response to community concerns, a three-week joint investigation was initiated by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and Readington Township Police Department.

A search warrant was executed on June 6 at the Aurora 1 Spa, at 1 Old Highway 28 in Whitehouse Station, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson.

Li Saihong, 35, Chunhua Lai, 33, and Jinhua Hua, 47, all of Whitehouse Station, were each charged with one count of engaging in prostitution for economic gain (a disorderly persons offense) and one count of promoting a house of prostitution, a fourth-degree offense.

Li Saihong was also charged with resisting arrest, a disorderly persons offense.
