Landlord Allegedly Pointed Handgun at Tenant, Cops Say

Bridgewater charged with aggravated assault.

A Bridgewater landlord was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly brandished a handgun during an argument with a tenant, according to Bridgewater Township Police.

Kenneth Frenchu, 54, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and terroristic threats in the incident, which occurred at about 5:30 p.m., police said.

During the dispute, the police report said, Franchu allegedly pointed a gun at the victim, his tenant, and threatened to shoot him.
