Man Charged With Bridgewater Armed Robbery Pleads Guilty to Lesser Charges
The Piscataway man tried to steal a gift card, candy bars and cigarettes from the Route 22 Hess station in February.

The man charged with robbing a Hess gas station in Bridgewater in February pleaded guilty to lesser charges in court on Monday, reports MyCentralJersey.com.
Curtis Ford, 26, will serve five years probation in drug court in exchange for his guilty plea for the Feb. 9 incident.
Ford told the court he had been drinking heavily when he attempted to steal a gift card, candy and cigarettes from the Route 22 gas station at 2 a.m. and assaulted employees trying to retain him until police arrived by biting them.
