Park Commission Environmental Education Center Announces Upcoming Events

From Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center:

The Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center at 190 Lord Stirling Rd. in Basking Ridge has scheduled the following naturalist-led program to help children and adults enjoy the wonders of nature in Somerset County. The Environmental Education Center provides many entertaining and educational programs for children and adults year around.

Whitewater Beginnings takes place Friday, Aug. 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Kayakers age 15 and over will have an opportunity to take their skills to another level on a trip to Class I - II whitewater. Prior participation in at least two, four-miles or less river trips required. The fee is $75 per person.

Please note that dog walking is not permitted on the trails.
