This and another motor vehicle crash Wednesday sent several to area hospitals.

A pedestrian struck is suffering life-threatening internal injuries after being struck by a vehicle on East Main Street Wednesday night, Bridgewater Township Police Officer Allen Mele said.

Police said Molyneaux struck another vehicle in the rear, and pushed it into a third vehicle. The vehicle that was initially struck then hit the right-hand guard rail and slid north across the roadway before coming to rest, police said.

Mele said three people were transported to Somerset Medical Center with neck, back and facial injuries. Mickey Bradley, 45, of New York, was in Molyneaux's vehicle, and Rosa Mileth-Ramirez, 43, of Maryland, and Elizabeth Cumpos, 40, of Hillsborough, were in the first vehicle struck.

Molyneaux was taken by New Jersey State Police Medevac to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center to be treated for neck and back injuries.

There were no injuries suffered by those in the third vehicle involved, Mele said.

"The driver of the first car said the other vehicles came to an abrupt stop," he said.

Both accidents are currently still under investigation, and Mele said no charges have been filed.
