Somerset County has historically been a stronghold for the Republican party. But things may be changing.

Democrats haven't found a spot on the Board of Chosen Freeholders for nearly 30 years, according to NJ.com. But will that change this year? Democrats now outnumber Republicans by roughly 230 voters according to the board of elections, says an NJ.com report.
