Somerset County Man Killed, Woman Hospitalized In Stabbing In South Plainfield
The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the fatal stabbing that happened on Monday.

RARITAN, NJ — A Raritan man was killed and a woman was injured in a stabbing at a home in South Plainfield on Monday.
On Monday at around 1:57 a.m., the South Plainfield Police got a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a home on Tooz Place in South Plainfield.
Authorities found Brandon Andrews-Cruz, 38, of Raritan, and a 32-year-old woman from South Plainfield with stab wounds, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South Plainfield Police Chief Peter Papa on Tuesday.

Andrews-Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken to the hospital, where she is being treated for her injuries.
The investigation is still active and ongoing.
