Washington Valley Park To Close On Select Dates For Deer Control
Parks and trails will be closed at the Bridgewater park due to firearm use, officials said.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Washington Valley Park will be closed on select dates in January and February due to deer control efforts, Somerset County park officials said.
The hunting season closures at Washington Valley Park will be in effect on Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25, as well as Feb. 1 and 8, according to a statement from Somerset County Park Commission Park Rangers.
Firearms will be in use during the dates; parks and trails will subsequently be closed.
